The emo style is not just a hair fashion any longer. It has extended to define an entire look or image of a person. This style begins with an emo haircut, with its sharp and jagged cuts and diagonal bangs. The streaks and colors of varied hues add to this effect of gothic drama. The clothes too add on to this look. The principle of the emo style is to achieve a crisp yet laid back look. The attitude reflects the creativity of the new generation and yet displays their inherent need to rebel.
Tight jeans are the norm, with a spanking belt as an accessory. A fitting tee is usually worn, in blacks or grays to add to this look of doom. Converse of kets are on the feet, reminding one of school yard romps. A host of accessories are also necessary to complete this look. It starts with a tight choker or black beads around the neck. Next are several wrist bands and bracelets on both hands. The jeans themselves are touched up with metallic elements such as pins or buttons.
