A fast catching up trend among the youth is the emo style. But most parents are left wondering what is an emo hairstyle. The label emo is derived as an abbreviation for emotion. The emo hairstyle is a choppy layered look, opted for short to mid length hair. The basic principle is to have a varying back and front length of hair. The front hair is snazzy cut with a diagonal fringe. This fringe stops at nose or chin level.
