Scene girl hairstyles 2009
Young women have been experimenting widely with a variety of trendy new hair styles. One of the most popular styles is the Scene girls hairstyle in 2009. This style is usually done to achieve a semi-gothic, rebel image.
The hairstyle is a no frills, simple affair. It is defined by the front hair which is parted and cut into bangs. The parting and the bangs are generally asymmetrical to give a lopsided view. The back hair may be cut short or left long, but the guiding principle is to have absolutely straight hair.
The bangs may cover one eye giving the face a dramatic framing. The entire style is stylized with users coloring or streaking the bangs, or adding highlights to the hair. The general color tones used are a jet black base color, or any other dark color and blonde for streaks or highlights. For the truly rebel girls the highlights may be in pinks or purples to make a striking statement. Accessories such as bows and ribbons may also be added.
